Research
Our research focuses on three areas:
Individuals and Groups
How does personality, cultural intelligence and propensity for group mobility influence an individual’s approach to inter-group and inter-organisational relationships?
This research can potentially impact recruitment, allocation of individuals to projects and stakeholder management.
Organisations
What is the role of organisational culture in inter-organisational relationships?
Can the culture of different organisations align? Can one organisation’s culture ‘stretch’ to accommodate another organisation’s culture? If so, how and by how much? Does a new culture ’emerge’ from inter-organisational exchanges?
This research can potentially impact supplier selection, business case development, risk profiling and performance resilience.
Contracting and Supplier Relationship Management
The contracting process may include legally binding contractual commitments and more general relationship agreements. Are there unwritten, even subconscious, expectations between the contracting parties? Can these expectations be identified and made explicit?
This research can potentially help to improve contractual understanding, reduce costly contractual confrontation and improve the resilience of the contractual and supplier relationship management structure.
