Ray has many years experience in strategic procurement and supply chain projects. He has worked in many business sectors, for companies large and small on UK, European and Global projects. Ray worked as an independent consultant for 15 years and is MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualified.

Ray researched contracting psychology for his MSc in Occupational Psychology. He holds the BPS Test User Certificate (Ability), and is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS). Ray now works at the Open University Business School and continues to research inter-organisational emergent culture.
